UCL Preview: Underdogs dominating the early days in league of Champions
The UEFA Champions League new format is well underway with two matchdays already done, and some shocking results have been recorded

The third round of games is not even expected to make a major turnaround given the standings ahead of kickoff on Tuesday, with the likes of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich behind Brest and a few other minors.
We take a look at the upcoming fixtures, and what to anticipate as some down to earths are expected, while other big names are expected to rise again.
AC Milan vs. Club Brugge
Italian giants Milan have endured a tough start to the competition this season having lost both of their games so far against tough opponents in Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen. Tonight's meeting with Club Brugge presents an opportunity for them to finally pick up themselves up.
In Club Brugge awaits them a side not so convincing themselves. A narrow 1-0 away win over Sturm Graz represents their only positive result of the competition so far.
Tonight, Paulo Fonseca is without Tammy Abraham, Ismael Bennacer and Davide Calabria, while Gustaf Nilsson is the only major absentee for the visitors.
Arsenal vs. Shakhtar Donesk
Mikel Arteta's side suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Bournmouth during the weekend and in shocking fashion, as William Saliba received his first career red card in the encounter. Bukayo Saka also missed the tie due to injury but the English winger is expected to be back in action later today.
Shakhtar has had a mixed start to the season but have just one defeat in their last seven, a 3-0 home loss to Atalanta in the last Champions League matchday.
Their previous meeting cam in 2010 Group H, with Arsenal winning the first leg by 5-1 thanks to goals from five different scorers and a consolation for the visitors by former Arsenal striker Edouardo da Silva, who also netted the winner in the return leg as Shakhtar came from behind to win 2-1.

Arsenal, the overwhelming favorite, is expected to return to winning ways and add to their four points in the Emirates tonight.
Aston Villa vs. Bologna
Bologna's return to the UEFA Champions League hasn't really gone as planned as their inexperience is obvious in the draw against Shakhtar Donesk and the defeat to Liverpool last time out.
With just one win all season after seven games across all competitions, they are not best placed to upset Unai Emery's side at the Villa Park tonight. They've struggled to maintain the standard set by Thiago Motta under Vincenzo Italiano.
Aston Villa are one of the seven sides with a perfect record in the UEFA Champions League so far. They recorded a massive win by beating Bayern Munich last time out thanks to a Jhon Duran's sensational strike.
Just one defeat in eleven games all season, which came against Arsenal in Premier League matchday two, Villa is expected to extend their unbeaten run to ten this night, barring any surprise.
Juventus vs. Stuttgart
The Bianconerri continues to regain lost identity under Thiago Motta with six wins and four draws after ten games across all competitions this season.
They staged a sensational performance to beat RB Leipzig with ten men away from home last time, and tonight at home against another German team, they will be looking to take a significant step towards reaching the knockout round of the competition, before playing the few tough opponents in their schedule.
Stuttgart are on a very poor run at the moment. They are winless in five games, and suffered a a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich during the weekend. Their only point so far in the UCL came in a home draw against Slavia Prague.
Juventus will be expected to pick up another win tonight, taking them up to nine points after three games and at the same time leave Stuttgart in danger of elimination.
PSG Paris Saint-German vs. PSV Eindhoven
Although they share a rhym in name, their fate isn't so alike in the UEFA Champions League. French champions PSG has one defeat in the competition and all season, suffered at the hands of Arsenal last time out in Europe.
PSV on the other hand lost their first game to Juventus before forcing a draw at home to Sporting CP last time out in the competition. They sit 24th on the log, and may move further down before the end of the round.
This will be their first meeting in a while and the French champions are expected to come out on top, with players like Bradley Barcola and Joao Neves expected to play key role.
Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund
A rematch of the last UEFA Champions League final, Dortmund has had it better than their rival in the competition this season. They stand above the other 35 with more goals than the rest. With 10 goals, Nuri Sahin's side is the only team to have reached double digits of goals.
As per their performance on the continent so far, they stand a better chance than when they face Carlo Ancelotti's men last June.

Real Madrid, albeit can not be ruled out by any context, has not been too convincing this season. They've struggled to win games in the league and have one defeat and one win in two Champions League games.
They are 17th on the log but they are still the favorite to come out on top in the Bernabeu tonight.
