After the lists of players to represent different countries were released days threatening weeks ago, it was revealed that a host of youngsters, majorly teenagers will be set to make their senior bows at international level.

From Myles Lewis-Skelly to Assane Diao, we take a look at ten youngsters who are set to make their debut for their respective countries in the March 2025 international break.

10 youngsters set for International debut

1. Mika Biereth for Denmark

Although Biereth only moved to AS Monaco in January, he has already scored more goals for the club than any other Denmark player have for their respective clubs this season.

In fact, Biereth, adding his 14 goals for Sturm Graz with his eleven at his current club, is more than managed by Rasmus Højlund and Jonas Wind, the two strikers named in the current squad that have been with the national team before, combined.

The 22-year-old will be the country's star in attack when they take on Portugal for a place in the semi finals of the UEFA Nations League and even though he is joining the team for the very first time, Biereth will be expected to lead the lines ahead of the others.

It is a difficult fixture for Brian Riemer's charge but having a striker on form like Mika Biereth makes decision in attack much easier, and the manager will surely not want to complicate things.

2. Desire Doue for France

Desire Doue, 19, has earned his call up to the French national team after rejecting the advances made by the Ivorian football Federation, who wanted to secure his services for the Elephants.

The PSG winger is having a wonderful first season at the club after joining from Rennes in the summer – despite the competition for place at PSG, he is really fancied by Luis Enrique, who has nonetheless played him 39 times.

Doue, with seven goals and eleven assists across all competitions, majority of which have come in his most recent games, while also scoring the decisive penalty to send PSG into the Champions League quarter finals at the expense of Liverpool, is already with the squad.

He will lobby for his chance to feature in the coming days as Les Bleus battles Croatia in a doubleheader for a place in the UEFA Nations League semi finals, even though France boast a lot of talent in their attack.

3. Myles Lewis-Skelly for England

Thomas Tuchel revealed there was a lot of talks before the 18-year-old Arsenal sensation was included in a very competitive England squad.

MLS, who is having his breakthrough season at Arsenal has appeared destined for greatness, having represented England at youth level before his senior debut for his boyhood club last season.

Primarily a midfielder, capable of playing as a No. 6 and No.8, the Hale Ender can also fit in perfectly as a left-back, the position he holds and has made his own in the Arsenal team, and the purpose of his selection for England.

His direct competition in the latest England squad is Dan Burn, although he could have more to condone with should Tuchel choose to play a few defender out of position as the country take on Albania and Latvia in the World Cup qualifier.

4. Dean Huijsen for Spain

The 19-year-old was initially overlooked by Spain coach Luis de La Fuente but in the wake of the injury to Barcelona's Inigo Martinez, he has been called up to take his place.

Huijsen has been a standout performer for Premier League club Bournemouth in what is his debut season in England having made that move from Juventus last summer.

Highly rated for his almost complete center back profiling, he is capable of all that makes he modern center back and would be a great opportunity for Spain, as Huijsen is eligible to represent the Netherlands, the country he had already played for at several youth levels.

With just six defenders in the recent Spain squad, two of which are traditional fullbacks, Huijsen may get a chance to face his former country, the Netherlands, as they battle, over two legs, for a place in the semi finals of the UEFA Nations League.

5. Assane Diao for Senegal

Senegal hit the jackpot following the decision of young sensation Assane Diao to turn down Spain and embrace the invite the represent the Lions of Teranga.

It is an unusual but right decision from the Como winger, 19, who is highly rated as one of the stars of the future and had represented Spain at different youth levels before finally accepting his country of birth.

A mixture of creativity and technicality, he started as a midfielder but has developed into a monstrous winger, capable of crashing the box with his intimidating physique. He is also very quick and good with headers.

Competing with the likes of Abdallah Sima on the left of the attack, he will hope to be given more time to express himself as Senegal takes on Sudan and then Togo in the coming days.

6. Cesare Casadei for Italy

After ending his frustrating association with Chelsea in January, Cesare Casadei has now stumbled on the light that awaited him at the end of the tunnel.

Six games and just over a month after returning to Italy with Girona, the 22-year-old has done more than enough to convince Luciano Spaletti for a place in the national team squad as the country set to take on Germany in a UEFA Nations League quarter final doubleheader.

The midfielder has been highly rated during his time at Inter, and albeit his development stalled following his move to England in 2022, he did make some fun memories while on loan with Leicester City in the Championship.

He'll compete with some august names in a stacked Azzurri midfield, which consist of a name he may have looked up to growing up at Inter, Nicolo Barella, while there are several others like Sandro Tonali, Davide Frattesi, Nicolo Rovella, Samuel Ricci and Daniel Maldini.

7. Murillo for Brazil

The 22-year-old was called up by Brazil for the previous break but was unable to debut as Dorival Junior's charge took on Venezuela and Uruguay.

This time, the manager may be tempted to give him a run against Argentina or Uruguay in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers, as Murillo has been one of the best center back in the Premier League this season.

In his second season since moving to England from Corinthians, the Nottingham Forest man has been as solid as rock in a defence that has kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League this season, while also helping the club to a place in third.

With Arsenal's Gabriel, who has been more than equally great in the Premier League as well being his major competition, Murillo could get his chance this time around, so as not to risk burning out Gabriel, who has already made 47 appearances this season and has dates with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

8. Jorthy Mokio for Belgium

The 17-year-old midfielder has been a revelation since his breakthrough a few months after arriving at Ajax from Belgian club Gent.

Mokio starred both in the league and Europe for the club under Francesco Farioli, who has helped achieved the transformation at the club as they now lead the way in the Eredivisie.

In just 12 appearances for the Ajax first team across all competitions, he has shown his talent convincing new manager Rudi Garcia to name him in his first squad selection.

His competitor for minutes as Belgium takes on Ukraine in a UEFA Nations League doubleheader will be Youri Tielemans and other potential debutants, Bryan Heynen and Nicolas Raskin of Genk and Rangers respectively.

9. Geovany Quenda for Portugal

The 17-year-old who recently agreed a move to Chelsea in the summer of 2026 has hit the ground running with Sporting CP following his full integration into the senior team at the start of the season.

Quenda is highly rated for his creativity and ability to beat his man, which makes his a perfect fit whether as a side midfielder or a wing forward.

He has already made over 40 appearances this season, scoring twice and assisting three others, thereby earning a call up to the national team, having already represented Portugal at youth level.

His chances of debuting this month will depend on the level of difficulty Portugal face in their UEFA Nations League doubleheader clash with Denmark, as Roberto Martinez will not want to leave anything to chance.

10. Marino Hinestroza for Colombia

A great future with Colombia awaits the 22-year-old if he can make the best of the opportunity given as he is the only left footed winger in the current squad.

Marino Hinestroza has been a consistent performer since his move to Atlético Nacional in the summer of 2024, although he can always do better productive wise.

He'll have to linger and wait for a potential opportunity as Colombia takes on Brazil and Paraguay in the coming days as the likes of Luis Diaz, Jhon Arias and Luis Sinisterra will be selected ahead of him, even though are not direct competitors.

There are several other players to watch out for in the coming international games, both old and young, yet set to make their first international bow.

With games coming up across all the continents, you can keep up with these players by following the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the UEFA Nations League and other continental competitions of the March 2025 international break.
