10 Stars to Watch in Top Five Leagues This Weekend
Premier League
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Liverpool is set to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday and again, Arne Slot's charge will look up to their Messiah for inspiration to come out on top.
The club needs a response after two games without a win and Salah's exceptional form, which has been pivotal for the Reds this season, will again be crucial in this fixture.
The Egyptian has already been involved in 36 goals in 22 games in the Premier League this season, while he has also played a direct goal involvement in 11 goals in 16 games against Sunday's opponent.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
Chelsea will be all out for revenge when they take on Brighton in the reverse fixture of their Premier League meeting on Friday night.
Although it was the Blues who came out on top in the fixture earlier in the season, but the Seagulls have had their revenge last weekend, when they dumped out Enzo Maresca's side from the Emirates FA Cup in a 2-1 comeback win in the AMEX.
Tonight, Cole Palmer, who scored all of Chelsea's four goals in a 4-2 away win earlier in the season will again be the focal point of the host's attack, and he has an impressive record against the visitors, with five goals against them, more than he has had against any other side.
In the absence of Nicolas Jackson, Palmer's creativity will be needed to get the best out of Christopher Nkunku, who will lead the line for the club in the coming weeks.

Nico Gonzalez (Manchester City)
His Manchester City debut did not go as planned as he was withdrawn due to injury earlier in the Emirates FA Cup comeback win over Leyton Orient.
The Spaniard was named on the bench in the UEFA Champions League loss to Real Madrid in mid-week as it came too soon for him but should he make his return to the side this weekend in the visit of Newcastle United, he is expected to play a vital role.
The Cityzens have struggled all season in the absence of Rodrigo Hernandez and in Nico, they have a player who can fill in the void left behind.
If fit, it is expected that Pep Guardiola starts him, so he can fit into the side ahead of their Champions League second leg meeting with Real Madrid next week, although the meeting with Newcastle will also be tricky.
La Liga
Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid)
Kylian Mbappé has been on a good form for Real Madrid of late, scoring in all but two of his last nine games across all competitions, amassing a total of ten goals in the process.
Still chasing Robert Lewandowski for the Pichichi, the game against Osasuna, who has conceded 12 goals in their last three meetings Madrid presents him a glorious chance to close the gap.
The Frenchman failed to score in this fixture earlier in the campaign and will be looking to add the to the list of his victims when he faces them again later on Saturday.

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid)
It's been three months since the Brazilian last scored in the LaLiga, with his last goals in the competition coming in form of a hat-trick against Osasuna, the opponent this weekend.
Fresh from a player of the match performance against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League, and hasn't blank in any of his last seven games against Osasuna, scoring eight time, making them his joint favourite opponents alongside Valencia.
He has also scored five times in his last two meetings with them, and him returning among the goals in the league this weekend appears not farfetched.
Lamine Yamal (Barcelona)
Just like Vinicius, it's been more than three months since Lamine Yamal last scored in the league – his last coming in the Clasico win over Real Madrid in October.
He is yet to score against the opponent on Monday night, Rayo Vallecano, although he has starred in all three of his starts against them, assisting a goal in each of the last two.
Yamal will be optimistic to get on the scoresheet against a side who has one of the best defensive records away from home in the league this season but the youngster is a famous character for thriving amidst difficulties.
Serie A
Mateo Retegui (Atalanta)

Atalanta's forward has been in fine form, and their upcoming game against Cagliari provides him with another platform to showcase his goal-scoring abilities.
20 goals in the first 24 weeks of the season, a new record in the competition, he will be optimistic of his chances to finally score against Cagliari, having failed to do so in his two previous meetings with them.
German Bundesliga
Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)
Florian Wirtz is the hottest German player these days, but he hasn't score in his any of his previous nine meetings with Bayern Munich.
His only goal against the Bavarians came on his first-ever game against them, where he scored the final goal in a 4-2 defeat in the BayArena, the venue for Sunday's showdown.
With nine goals and as many assists in the Bundesliga this season, the 21-year-old will hope to reach double digits in a match of huge consequence in the title race.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)
Bayern Munich faces Bayer Leverkusen in a crunch tie on Saturday evening and a win will see them extend their lead a to the Bundesliga summit to eleven points.
Harry Kane will be required at his deadliest against the defending champions as he looks to finally deliver his first senior silverware at the end of the season.
The England captain has scored in each of his last five games uninterrupted and has scored the most Bundesliga goals this season (21), whilst only a few players have more than his six assists in the competition.
Yet to find the back of the net against Die Werkself, there may not be a better occasion for him to get off the mark in this fixture than on Saturday.
Ligue 1
Ousmane Dembele (PSG Paris Saint-Germain)
Best player in the world since the turn of the year, Ousmane Dembele has scored 15 goals in seven games in 2025, by some distance more than managed by any other player.

He has scored 10 times in his last four, which have come in form of a couple of hat-tricks and as many braces, he is tipped to have another productive outing at Toulouse, who haven't record a win in five.
These players will all be eager to deliver for their clubs in form of goals and assists leading to maximum points to aid their respective courses as the season heads into more decisive rounds.
