Another Episode of Unending Controversy awaits | Real Madrid & La Liga Referees

On Saturday, referee Gil Manzano wrongfully sent off Real Madrid defender Dean Huijsen in the 32nd minute of their 2-1 away in Real Sociedad in La Liga following a foul on Mikel Oyarzabal, in which the application of the textbook rule would have easily saved him the embarrassment.
Strangely, VAR referee Figueroa Vazquez did not call the attention of the center referee to have a look at the monitor and potentially reverse his decision, and Huijsen was left to walk the pitch, leaving Los Blancos with 10 men for two third of the game.
An enraged Xabi Alonso could not believe the decision, protested the case of his player, but even his outburst could not propel the referee to review the incident, it only earned the former midfielder a yellow card for dissent.
Thankfully, Real Madrid manager to grab a crucial second goal before the half-time whistle, later conceded to Mikel Oyarzabal penalty after the break but managed to grind out the win to continue their perfect start.
But the howler of the officiating team would not be completely overlooked despite the win, and for Real Madrid, who have always been vocal about their discrepancies, it is another opportunity to make their voices heard.
Real Madrid to Seek FIFA Judgement over La Liga Officiating
As Reported by the Athletic, Real Madrid are preparing to submit a detailed report of what is happening on Spanish football as regards to refereeing.
The announcement was made on the club's official media channel, Real Madrid TV in the wake of the controversial sending off of Dean Huijsen in San Sebastian on Saturday evening, that the dosier would reference incidents of last season and this.
"Real Madrid is preparing a report with everything that has happened in these first four rounds of La Liga and what happened last season," reads the official announcement from Real Madrid TV.
"A dosier, that report, which is going to be submitted to FIFA so that they take good note of what is happening in Spanish football as regards to refereeing."
Real Madrid & La Liga Referees this Season

Before the sending off of Dean Huijsen in Sociedad, a lot of 50/50 decisions have gone the way of Real Madrid's opponents in the opening four rounds of the La Liga this season.
From ruled out goals to steady bookings, their four wins out of four may sound like cruising, but it only down to the players' grits as every time it looks that the officiating teams was going to compromise their run.
Real Madrid have had four goals disallowed in their last two La Liga games, with some of those may have been easily down to the referees' discretion as they were either unclear fouls or inconclusive offsides.
In their win before the international break, the only game where Kylian Mbappé has failed to score this season, Los Blancos had three disallowed goals, with the Frenchman denied by VAR twice, while Arda Guler was also denied.
Real Madrid & La Liga Referees Last Season
In fhe last La Liga season, a specialist in Spanish refereeing, Archivo VAR compiled what should be the actual La Liga standings without the refereeing errors caused by video assistance after the round 23 games.
He found that Real Madrid are the most affected club and have at the time been denied six points due to errors of the referees, and the VAR combined, with their 50 points less than the 56 they should have received.
More sources continued to point out Los Blancos as the most effected by officiating errors last season, with 64 percent of the decisions of the VAR going against them — only Alaves, 66 percent, having worse.

Apart from the ones seen on these, Real Madrid felt they have more situations that could have gone their way, where the VAR has refused to intervene, like Carlos Romero's cynical tackle on Kylian Mbappé in February, a match Espanyol ended up winning 1-0 with a goal scored by Romero later in the match.
The Espanyol player said at full-time;
“I knew it was impossible to stop Mbappe running. I stopped him as best I could, it [the tackle] was a bit ugly, I didn't like it and then I apologised to him.” but how does that restore the points lost in the game?
What Next | Real Madrid v La Liga Referees
Real Madrid will submit and official report to FIFA as per the referee situation in Spain, in the hope that they can find a solution moving forward.
Later on Sunday, The Spanish Referee Committee confirmed that there was a mistake in the decision, and as a result suspended Figueroa, who failed to direct Gil Manzano to review the play, but how does this compensate Real Madrid had they lost the game?
Dean Huijsen is still not expected to return to action in Real Madrid's next LaLiga game, because despite admitting the error, the referee association maintains the punishment will stay.
Meanwhile this is another case Real Madrid have taken to the Spanish Court.
